ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Norwich keeper fails to turn up
Michael Theoklitos
Theoklitos' only game for Norwich came in the 7-1 defeat by Colchester

Norwich manager Paul Lambert says that goalkeeper Michael Theoklitos will be disciplined for failing to show for the JP Trophy tie at Gillingham.

Theoklitos was due to be on the bench at Priestfield on Tuesday, leaving the Canaries with just four substitutes.

Lambert told BBC Radio Norfolk: "Nobody is bigger than the club and he has let everybody down. Michael will be disciplined by the club."

Norwich won the game 1-0 thanks to a goal from Cody McDonald.

Theoklitos, 28, joined City as a free agent on a two-year deal in July.

But, he has played just 90 minutes for the Canaries, the 7-1 opening-day defeat by Colchester United.

He was due to be recalled to the bench at Gillingham as a replacement for Declan Rudd, who was on international duty with the England Under-19 side.

Being told after one game that your services are no longer required would be a huge de-motivator. I may be a Sydney fan but honestly he's been treated like a dog. What do the club expect? There was eleven players out there, not just Theoklitos.

still extremely unprofessional and would hurt your chances of finding another decent club

His "performance" in that game was considered one of the worst debuts by any Norwich player.

Keep in mind that we're talking a club that was once a top-flight force not too long ago, pretty much gutted by a Con Constantine-esque chairman (Robert Chase) who kept selling players and never fully recovered. For a club of its size to suffer such a fall in fortunes, it's hardly a surprise you have fans with this edge to them in that they're bound to be hard on players.
