ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Sonny was an over-rated player anyway, didnt need him in NRL & to walk out of his club & fans & team mates like that is pathetic.

We did need him to walk out to sow sadness and misery to the NRL.

You have got to be kidding!!! SBW is, BY FAR, the best New Zealand Rugby League player of the last 10 years, and that includes Stacey Jones & Stephen Kearney at their very best.

He has it all, speed, magnificent hands, creativity off either side of his body and totally destructive when the mood took him. Over-rated, I think not. Anyone who says he is over-rated is completely flawed in their thinking.

Graham Henry and the All-Blacks brains trust will be SALIVATING about SBW playing outside centre, with Daniel Carter & Ma'a Nonu or Conrad Black inside him, god help us if they are all fit at RWC 2011. The NZ backline could be: Weepu, Carter, Nonu/Black, SBW, Sivivatu, Muliaina & Gear. That is fair-dinkum frightening for everyone else.

Legal issues will censor my writings here, but I would raise serious questions about the advice SBW has received from his inner circle, including his management.

That being said, it has been most interesting to see Rugby League turn itself inside out over this issue in the past week. Finally, someone had the ticker to suggest a major revolution in the game. Great to see that EVERYONE realised that their MUST be a team on the Central Coast (there is ABSOLUTELY room on the Coast for two professional franchises, and our ground is deserving of two teams).

League could end up with these 12 teams: North Qld, BrisVegas, Gold Coast, Newcastle, New Zealand, Canberra, Melbourne (in a bold move, I would relocate Melbourne to Gosford), Adelaide or NT, Perth, North (based at a renovated Brookvale), South (A renovated Endeavour Field or a renovated Wollongong Stadium) & Western Sydney (Parra Stadium).

Have major club games at the SFS or the SCG, Origin and Tests at Stadium Australia.

Revisit a World Club Challenge with Pommie teams.

Double the Cap, introduce a draft, a nationwide Under 18's, have a marquee player system.

Rugby League has a place in our sporting world, but if they continue having News run the game, they are doomed.

Back to SBW, he will run amok in southern France. I wish him luck.

Radio reporting this morning that he may play for Toulon in a friendly on Friday "despite" the legal challenge.

Who are they kidding lol. The legal challenge has no weight in France or Union.

Problem with $BW is/was he's always injured and spent more time on the sidelines watching than actually playing and for a team that is built around him means they will struggle when is isn't playing as has happend to the Bulldogs this season. Also dropping several Sydney teams is probably not a wise move just yet...

Bring on a Coastal based team though!

News/Foxtel cannot afford to abandon Melbourne and no Sydney club will choose to move.

As that idiot Gallop said last week, if they rip a side out of Sydney, they leave a gap in Australia's biggest sporting market.

They are f**ked if they do and f**ked if they dont.

Hehehehehe
