Hi all,

As some of you have noticed, we have had a few technical hiccups on ccmfans.net in the last couple of days; broken links when browsing through the forum, possible anti-virus alerts, and we have gone back to our A-League Seasons 6-7 template.

The issues were caused by a security breach in the forum software, which has been patched. The site was the target of a recent exploit which affects a number of different website/forum software packages, including IPB, and had some malicious javascript code injected into the template. The javascript code was a redirect which may attempt to install malware onto a users' machine, targeting outdated browsers and operating systems.

As a precaution, it is always recommended to;
* Have anti-virus software installed and up to date, and perform regular scans
* Keep Windows up to date with latest patches
* Keep your browser up to date with latest patches

We are currently talking to IPB support and exploring options, will possibly be migrating to another forum application very shortly.

Just spent 2 months restoring a Wordpress site attacked by spam bots - can empathise..

Last Saturday I was logged in on my Android phone, posting a message. I had to pause for a while and when I came back there was a message appended on the end of my post something like "your name and address roxio". I logged out immediately
