ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Round 18. Newcastle away.

If it is the hernia issue the Club should tell him to get it fixed with the offer of another year as an incentive. If he is playing injured he is not doing any favours either to himself or the Club.

But my money would be it’s not from lack of heart with him, but it might be...
If it's an injury he simply shouldnt be playing. His injured performance doesnt exceed what a number of players could provide. Maybe if Staj came out and said Milan has been playing with this issue and it's become clear that it isnt something he can play through and give a performance he's happy with it would wash away the ill feeling we're seeing now.

For comments about falling apart in Jan...we always seem to be at the exact same point. Start off with 'we look god, pity we lost' for a few games. Get a win to get the confidence up, drop off, another win, get some injuries, make some changes, injured players come back when we have a few games we think we should win, back to our A squad....and we fail when we should be hitting stride.
Same point every season.
So, there's probably a limit to how long players can stay motivated for.

Agree. Though just to be completely fair. For the most part we’ve been genuinely competitive and are picking up more points/wins than the last couple of years.

Which points towards the transfer window and lack of funds to confidently secure players early as being very problematic for us in our current state.

Really likeable character, always thanks the fans whether it's at home or away matches and you cannot question his commitment.

I know he's on the slower side but I hope we can keep him honestly.

Only Ziggy and Rowles understand the simple fact that if you put your body between the ball and the goal the ball wont end up in the net. Sadly Rowles has not yet mastered the positioning of his body and has scored 15 OG this year...so far.

It they just made them watch videos of the legend that is Kante from Leicester and Chelsea fame they might get it.
