ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Qualifying for and playing in the 1974 WC finals was an epic effort by Rale and the team. For lowly paid semi pros to mix it with the big boys was a dream for those players and they played with lots of guts and tenacity and a considerable amount of skill.

RIP Rale ,a legend of our game

Thats awful news. Was lucky enough to spend around 2 hours with Rale his wife and Kenny Wilson at our home game against Sydney game this year after offering him my chairs and table as he was late to arrive at the box. He wouldn’t take them unless me and my sister stayed and chatted with him which coverred off on all things old NSL days , St.George budapest and Frank Arok , Blacktown , former players he coached and pretty much everyone we discussed be it Socrates, Maradonna , Platini and he would start scrolling through his phone and show you a picture with him and tell you a story about them. Probably the best day I ever experienced at football other than last Saturday night and he was so similar in his views on the rule changes and VAR being garbage and loved how the Mariners with limited resources was run and I asked him if he heard what was the Injury time added on as we were talking when it was announced and we were leading 2 -1 with Rale’s response absolute gold which was whatever time is needed for Sydney to equalise. A true gentleman and an experience i will never forget. I hope he got to see our win as he had a real soft spot for tthe Mariners
