*more* Kendall Room Feedback

Hi all,

The Kendall has been going off before the games - we've had some great feedback, not everything can be acted on, but we're always after ways to improve things if possible.

One thing has been brought up and that is what, if anything, gets played over the speakers. We've got the football showing but no sound, so wondering what people would prefer - play the TV sound, or some music?

TV Sound - Means we get to hear what they are crapping on about pre-game, but could also kill the atmosphere as people sit there and watch the TV. I can see some getting upset if they can't hear and telling others to STFU.

Music - Would need to be a decent playlist. Some good tuned to get everyone in the mood for a game! If you vote music, please suggest tune(s) in a reply.

Power-pop type stuff like Kasabian can work (as the EPL broadcasters have known for years - they're pretty much Kasabian tunes exclusively), otherwise something electronic/rock/pop/whatever. Two priorities would be that it be up-tempo but not excessively intrusive - people are there to have conversations and all; you don't want to kill that off, but you want something to just set a somewhat pumped up mood.

Commentary is definitely a no-no (IMHO).

Agreed with all of the above. Kasabian, Phoenix, Muse, 2 Door Cinema Club, St. Lucia etc etc all great for a playlist!
