Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. Round 12 Marinators Man of the Match, sponsored by 'Words and Pictures' was won by local boy Matty Simon for his outstanding performance up front alongside Australian hero John Aloisi.

Matty was unlucky not to be on the score sheet himself but his enthusiasm and never say die attitude paid off and was recognised by all those fanatical fans in bay 16 and beyond!

great to see matty got MOM against Adelaide. get in early as this young man is destine to go a lot further. Matty can only improve with legends like John Aloisi, Tony Vidmar and Alex Tobin to help hone his skills. Plus being in the Best team in the A-League the skies the limit. Our club has been very fortunate at selecting "Top Quality " young players and these guys will make the world take notice of Central Coast Mariners.
