Members Christmas picnic set for 14 December

Central Coast Mariners Members are invited to join in the Christmas spirit with the Mariners playing squad at their Bluetongue Stadium home on Sunday, 14 December at the fourth annual Mariners Members Christmas Picnic.

The Members Christmas Picnic will feature an appearance from the entire Mariners Hyundai A-League 2008/09 playing squad the day after their Saturday, 13 December match up against southern rivals Sydney FC, in addition to a merchandise tent for those on the hunt for Christmas gifts, free temporary tattoos, rides and activities to cater for the whole family and a special visit from Santa Claus.

In addition to food and drink stalls set out across the Bluetongue Stadium precinct, each Member is entitled to a complimentary sausage sandwich or drink, with the season four edition of onside, the Mariners annual magazine exclusively for Members, also available for collection.

The fourth annual Mariners Members Christmas Picnic will begin at 11am and conclude at 1pm Members will receive a Christmas card in the mail prior to the event with redeemable vouchers for their copy of onside and their complimentary sausage sandwich or drink.

"Our Members Christmas Picnics are always an exceptional success and an ideal chance for our playing group to meet with our Members at a crucial time of the Hyundai A-League season ahead of the festive period," said Mariners Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman.

"Its during this very busy time of year that our playing group draw strength from the exceptional community support that is showcased in abundance across the Central Coast and I, along with our playing group, look forward to seeing plenty of yellow and navy at Bluetongue Stadium on 14 December."

The Mariners Hyundai A-League campaign continues on Saturday, 29 November when they travel to Members Equity Stadium to face the Perth Glory. Kick off is at 8pm AEDT.

The Mariners are next at their Bluetongue Stadium home on Saturday, 6 December when they host the Queensland Roar in Round 14. Kick off is at 6pm.
