ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Monty for me. Although his performance wasn't faultless he was the one player who looked like he was at least trying hard to force a change in the game. I was suprised he was taken off as was offering much more than Hutch in that position. Other than that Fitzy tried hard and Trent and Zac are starting to look a good combo in central defence. Matty looked better when he came on.Would like to see Ant Caceres have a run in the side to see what he can do. What we need is someone that can pass and hold possesion in the midfield and to be fair there is really no one else there at the moment that can give us that. What have we got to lose? Until we find a quality replacement for Marcos anyway. Bernie will give us a bit of pace down the flanks but not sure if he is match ready yet. Danny looks a bit jaded as he should be not having had a rest in almost 2 years.

Western Stand for their response to "Who do we sing for". sounded preeeetttyyy good.

First time sitting at a game anywhere other than Bay 16, and I gotta say the "Who do we sing for" sounded great coming from the Western stand. I was just stoked that more than 3000 people turned up at a Heart on a Sunday arvo game.

Monty gave two cheap balls away in the space of a minute though had a good game and I was upset to see him subbed off. Would much rather Caceras come on for attacking midfielder either mcBreen or Sterj. Storm really didn't do much wrong. Also thought Sains and Ando is our best CB combo.
Is it just me or did Fitz turn it up a gear the few times he switched to the right. He had a great game but clearly doesn't have a left foot and every time he was forced to cut ball back onto his right. Whereas when he was on the right he could go either way.

3 Monty
2 Storm
1 Ando

Caceres ... AM might be the go for him right now.

. worth a try i reckon ... i know we have been told the last couple of years that he is a DM - but that may actually help. if he is charged with the responsibility of AM he may naturally drop slightly deeper filling that huge gap that seems to have developed in the middle of the park this year - providing a better link going forward

. sunday was a bit of a non-event but he has shown that he can hold the ball and pass as well as any of our current alternatives ... why not give the kid a chance?

. oh and if he is playing AM he will still have the muscle of monty & hutch to ease the pressure
