ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

One of my all time favourite groups was called the """Moody Blues"" aside from their music they had a gift in titles for their albums. One such title was """Days of Future Past "''' note the thread title this as an aside to the thread.

In our glory days of past years we identified excellent youth talent and put some hard heads around them and gave the start to arguably a third of the Socceroo squads ... and only Brisbane did similar to us and it paid huge dividends ...

Today we have Miller, Rowles, Silvera, Stensness, Ruiz-Diaz, Nisbet, and arguably DDS

Who ever is selecting the kids and who ever is training them are returning to the foundation the club was built on... LM was the key at the start today I think its AS & Monty ... hats off to both ...

Mixing in up and coming youths with experienced old heads has always been our way forward. We have lost some good quality young players recently because we have not had the correct old heads or the correct gaffer. I think we are seeing good quality all round now.

It is really a Question of Balance.

I needed some google to catch up on this. I've spent a few nights in white satin but that had been my limited exposure.
