ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Congratulations - Kye Rowles - Socceroo Selection

For the smallest club in the league we have made an amazing contribution to the national team over the years. 8 current or former players in the squad and surely Birraz to get called up at some stage. All 3 goalkeepers having come through our club. It is quite incredible. Good luck Kye. It is well deserved.

Birraz is levels above the Wiggle and Glover.
Be careful what you wish for peoples, how do you think we would all be feeling right now if we had to do without arguably our two best players for the next two games?

Losing Kye alone will likely have enough impact, so I am personally content to see Birraz stay right where he is for now and help build on the momentum we have only just started to regenerate since the COViD break.

Especially just to get a tracksuit. Neither would be playing

Helps him get exposure to go O/S at some point.
Not really. Goes on the CV yes but being 3rd choice for two games doesn’t do anything.

If that 3rd spot was for a world cup then yes but no one will care for 2 qualifiers and he’s better off making super saves for us like that one onto the bar. That will get him a move way more.

Agents are the masters of spin. Getting selected for a national squad, whether you play or not, would certainly improve his stock overseas.
