    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

    ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

United v  Villa nil nil after Extra Time with 2 weakened sides.

Yawn

Your cynicism is heartwarming.  ;D

Can you think of the last exciting Mickey Mouse cup final? I cant

Chelsea's 3-2 over Liverpool a few years back wasn't the worst game I've ever seen.....

I think you're pondering _FA_ Cup finals of late.

50cm of snow here now.  And it started again about half an hour ago.

Thing is, the grounds themselves are playable (undersoil heating and what not), it's the motorways and roads surrounding them that are ridiculously unsafe.  Not to mention a lot of councils are running low on salt and grit.

That makes no more sense than blaming global warming for every warmer than average day (which the PM did in December, showing that he's a muppet at times too).

*On average* it's getting warmer, as shown by the noughties being the warmest decade on record and 2009 the second warmest year on record. There are fluctuations but the trend is clear enough. [/rant]

That penalty was so soft I thought Ben Williams was in charge.

Terrible decision

Garbage decision. City pressed hard, but we deserved at LEAST a draw and on the balance of chances created the win. F**king Shay Given is just outstanding.
Personally, I blame Evra... Any national team frog player and Given is bound to have an absolute bloody blinder.
:headbutt:

Re Williams, how poor was that. I'm no Fyfe fan... but way to kick the reds when they're down Wiliiams.
::)
