A matter of atmosphere...

Having attended matches of both codes, I believe football(soccer) has by far the superior atmosphere.

Of course, the two matches, major ones for each code, can't tell the whole story. But it is an illustration of why I am passionate about football and find it hard to get excited about other codes.

LOL Celery, not exactly a fair comparison... although pretty funny seeing the MCG in total silence. AFL Grand Final vs a national team World Cup qualifier!? Can't find any of the A-League Grand Final but I imagine it would be similar levels of silence.

The fact that AFL can never experience a World Cup Final qualifier is another point in football's favour.
