Didn’t take it well apparently. I’ve seen some vitriol from bay 16 over the last few years but this is the only time I’ve actually nearly felt bad.... nearly.

Btw - are you the Kalvin I think you are? :D

I hope I'm the only Kalvin your thinking of! :)

I'd forgotten about Judas = Austin as well.

I nearly added Caceres but truth his he ran his time with us and want a good fit for us or him (on account of his doing nothing car a goal or two in his entire time with us).

Judas = Millar showed two or three good moments, that's it

Millar is useless to us now. Might as well release him,

Dreadful out there tonight, better off developing Kekeris, Murray or McDonald,
Though if we’re all about the points, play Connor right and Mallon left.

Everytime we play Judas we just make Mulvey look like a useless cockhead.......................unless his brilliant plan is to get rid of our best players. Tommy, Pain and Judas spring to mind.

I actually think he will be figured out pretty quickly next season, his x factor was that he was unknown and extremely athletic, however his game is pretty one dimensional and a good left back can defend against that pretty easily.

Mmm, Pedj was one-dimensional and it worked for him. I think within the right structure Millar will still be good. Much better than Austin. NOT BEING A MILLAR APOLOGIST :D

You could see him pull out of contests in this game, clearly doesn’t want to injure himself. That’s enough reason not to play him any more this season.

and he definitely did not attempt the kind of go forward he used to.
It's dumb really. Regardless of who he plays for he should be working every game to improve as a player. Can only backfire, especially when he gets dropped for it.
Mulvey clearly lacks any basic good sense so I expect we'll see Millar starting next game.

I'm not fussed if he plays or not but that aspect may have been under instruction from MM. We didnt have people getting forward so Millar charging down the line to cross wouldn't make any sense and if he loses possession against Sydney the space will be exploited. If we play him this week I'd expect he'll be pushing with those kind of runs and to have support to make those crosses.I don't want to see Pain or Mallon dropped for him so there'd have to be some other movement like Hoole or the spot Oar was in but surely Tom H should be in line for a spot too.

This is what I suspect too. But his space was exploited anyway and he offered very little to attack. Punt him now. No more development from us. Let the scum worry about playing him back into form.

We are not fighting to make the six, we are not fighting to avoid relegation. There are eight games remaining in this season.
Any player who has no chance of being here next year should be training by themselves and we should be giving as many possibles and probables a run in preparation for putting a squad together next year.
I am thinking Kekeris, Nibett and others in the youth, also let's give Murray every chance to find his feet at this level. Give Pearce some more game time so that if he is to be #2 keeper next year he will have gained some experience.
Good-bye Millar, Kennedy and now O'Neill, and anyone else who has signed elsewhere.
Giving them game time now does not help next season. This year is gone, there is nothing to be salvaged.
Make use of the last eight games.

I understand your sentiment but I'm not sure we should be burning it to the ground just yet and if we get silly with it the result could be damaging for the players we want to keep or the ones we want to recruit. A repeat of last seasons collapse helps noone. I'm all for giving Kekeris, Nisbett, Murray, Macdonald, etc.. a bit more time and at least making the match day squad even if it means they need to rotate the bench spaces.

I'm ok with not playing Millar, but if you're not playing O'Neill you may as well not play Jem, and the two young blokes on loan. That's 5 starting XI players gone.
