I saw that at Thursday’s game too, Hoole looked some way from being ready to resume training to my eyes at least. Perhaps he has realised that he is in danger of being left on the outer if he doesn’t start staking a claim for a spot?

It’s great that none of our players can assume that they will get a start this season, as that appeared to be sorely lacking last time around.

If that's the case with Hoole it says something about his level of professionalism and it's not a good thing. Would have thought you'd be working your ass off to stake a place injured or otherwise.

Question at CCF presentation to MM citing pre season activity including Usain Bolt.

MM: "his name always comes up first but I'm more interest in the 23 players who will actually play in the A-Leagur"
