ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

New coach and new players with a new style of play,.......leaves for a new challenge.

If what he says is true ........ then I think he has made a good decision. The new coaching set up at ccm may be a hell of an improvement but it is still no match for the city setup. To get a footin there and get away from the limited influence of mc is a bonus for him.

Yeah people would ‘possibly’ like him more if he just said... I wanted to go to a club with a much higher likelihood of success next year.

How could you argue?

But anyway, when I hear those lines I just hear their agents voices anyway.

Edit* don’t get me wrong though. I want to see loyalty from the youth we develop and find it hard reading that his statement seems to have more gratitude to Okon than the club that gave him and okon an opportunity to begin with.

For sure it`s a great move for him.
They can now loan him out to a club in the middle east or south America.
He can see the world!!

Maybe results won't matter if we're 'entertained' enough. I say we fill the rest of the squad spots with a gibbon, a pangolin, the tomato sauce bottle, the flight of the conchords and benny hill and just have at it

The Gibbon might be out of our price range

I heard that Pikey was pushing TW hard to replace McGing and Harry as our CB'S with the Tomato and BBQ sauce bottles.
