ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Storm Roux has been selected as part of a New Zealand European touring side facing:
  • 2 June v Northern Ireland in Belfast, Northern Ireland (3 June NZT)
  • 6 June v Cabinteely FC in Dublin, Republic of Ireland (7 June NZT)
  • 12 June v Belarus in Minsk, Belarus (13 June NZT)
Good luck to him but that will likely disrupt his pre-season with us, which could be an issue.

It will but training with his national team is probably better for him and will inspire him to do better. Plus him leaving will encourage Jake Adelson (if he's still around) and Shelford Dais to push hard and get noticed by Paolo.

Don't think the boys go back till end of June so shouldn't effect pre season, will just be his rest period but storm has had plenty of rest through injuries so playing might be good for him. Was looking better at the end of the season. Looks to be getting comfortable with his leg again

I was under the impression that Shelford Dais was a striker.

He was signed as replacement for Brian Jamba last year to play RB where he has almost exclusively played. He played as a RM/RWB last game against Bankstown City Lions.

Have watched a few npl2 & nyl games over the last 12 months and have only ever seen him play right back but apparently played right wing last week as they were a little bit skinny up front.

I would have a guess Spacks that you haven't watched any NYL or NPL over the last two years. Dais might have played as an "attacker" at Strikers, but he has most certainly played exclusively at RB at the Mariners NYL & NPL programs, until last week when he played a more advanced RM/RWB. He was most certainly signed when Brian Jamba left to pursue a scholarship program in the US, i'm not sure which part fits into "And that would be wrong". He does like to get up and down the touch line though from RB.
