Quietly confident we get it done.
Keen to see how Doka goes, good to see theo in #7 and alou in #9

Sydney have gone pretty young today too, 2-1 in regular time to us.

Doesn’t look like we care that much if we progress with the inexperienced line up. Good to give the kids a shot but may not bode well for todays results.

Did I hear that right - Shakespeare the fourth official?

And we're going to the fourth official to check offside...

Verily, upon yon pitch of verdant splendor, a battle of might and skill dost unfold. Two teams, in noble contest engaged, pursue the orb with fervor and grace.

Behold! A striker, fleet of foot, hath made his advance towards yon opposing goal. The linesman's eye, keen and unerring, doth fix upon the play, his flag held firm and ready.

"Aye, a pass!" cries out the midfielder, his foot guiding the ball with artful precision. The striker, anticipating the sphere's path, hath set himself in motion, but alas! His zeal doth betray him.

With tragic haste, he hath positioned himself beyond the last defender, ere the ball hath taken flight. The linesman, faithful to the laws, doth raise his flag on high.

"Offside!" cries he, his voice ringing clear as a bell in the wind. "The play is halted, the advantage lost. The striker's ambition hath o'erleaped itself, and now the other side shall take their turn."

The players, their faces marked with disappointment or relief, depending on their allegiance, doth prepare for the ensuing play, their hearts still pounding from the thrill of what might have been.

The referee, wise and just, confirms the call, his whistle singing the song of law and order. The crowd, some in agreement, others in dissent, doth fill the air with cheers and jeers alike.

Thus is the tale of an offside, a moment in time where ambition and law do meet upon the field of battle, a fleeting drama that adds to the grand tapestry of the beautiful game.
