Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. I see the finals only as a financial sugar hit for the powers that be with SFA from a sold out crowd to the Club. It is the reason why we had a 6 team final series with only 10 in the comp.
As far as I am concerned City were the top team this year and we came second.
There is already a cup competition for those who want the excitement of a knockout comp.

This is also why i think we should play an extra full round and make a bigger deal of the Australia Cup. I'm on record as saying this should also not be a two-legged tie as 1st and 2nd gained no advantage.

The whole family is coming up with me tonight. We usually park in the council carpark but the wife is understandably worried about how long it might take to get out at the end of the night. Any other suggestions on parking?

Your options may be limited depending on how early you get there. Adcock park may be a good option, bit of walking though.

About to head off to Sydney.

In my absence, I am calling on Bay 16 to do their bit and give the boys the advantage this team deserves for a home final.

Even if adversity hits and CCM find themselves behind on the scoreboard (or, God forbid, on aggregate) or if it’s a tight contest, the last thing we need is for the home crowd to lull into an indifferent murmur. Stay in solid voice behind the boys and put faith in the team on the park to do what it takes to get the result we’re chasing, as they have done time and again over the past few months.

I’ll always remember the second leg in 2008, going in 2-0 down against the Jest and how our ground was rocking the whole game. What a night that was. That’s make tonight another such occasion...

If anyone has ticketek issues I suggest getting the app as that’s been the suggestion from other teams finals games when having website issues.
