ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners v Welly (Pride Round)

Is Kaltak refereed differently to other defenders based on his past red cards?
Rolling over the top of the Ball shouldn’t be a Red, and picked up by the VAR.
Moresche, dumb reaction but understandable given the circumstances.
Monty , well given what the Nix got away with, compared to what the Mariners got carded for.

Could it be any more obvious the powers-that-be are determined to have their all-Sydney GF at the expense of teams like us and City?

If this was South America, the ref would be lucky to get home alive tonight. Utter joke. Got the f/t response he deserved.

MOM, Nix keeper.

Yeah Moreshe still looked dangerous and held the ball up nicely.

He probably suits our direct style better than Tulio at the moment.

But Tulio does create a storable chance for himself every game that he needs to bury.
Then Moreshe can come in and finish the game off and put it to bed.

Just need to break through this scoring rut our front men have.

What has Hall done to piss off the coach so much....
Not enough red cards or penalties given away apparently. That's at least 8 points dropped due to Kaltak. At least we won't see him for minimum 2 games now (3 reds).

Monty needs to accept that his golden boy has caused us a lot of dropped points and deal with it accordingly. It's just as big a failure for a coach to not admit his mistakes.

Have we ever had a player pick up 3 reds in a season? How thick do you have to be to continuously perform sliding tackles in the aleague and give the ref an opportunity to send you off. After you've already been sent off twice for the same thing. Amateur mindset.

It might not be fair but everyone knows by now we don’t get treated fairly, you have to be smart, mature and professional. Aleague refs are cheats, APL want a Sydney team in the Sydney stadium they've done the deal for. If you can't understand that and you expect to be treated fairly you're a mug.

You saw Monty’s reaction didn’t you? You have more chance of them rescinding the red and the referees buying Brian breakfast tomorrow than Monty thinking it was Kaltaks fault and that he’s made a mistake trusting him at CB all along.

It sounded more like a strategy decision

At least we didn't back down going to take some effort to beat wanderers next week
Ha. Haha.

As if they are going to let us come anywhere near their precious Wanderers.

It's almost comical how transparently corrupt the league is in this country. You and I both know at LEAST one of SFC/ WSW is playing in the decider, because they have to save face from the embarrassment of holding the decider in a stadium that's at least half empty.

Ironic that linesman are asked to be conservative and not put their flag up in case VAR need to rule on it but the ref in an instant can give a red without hesitation and change the game. Surely the more consistent play would be to issue a yellow and allow VAR to give him a nudge if it’s a clear red.
