I know next to nothing about the different revenue streams for a football club, I've always just been focused on the game and the team.
I was wondering if anyone with a bit more insight can roughly explain the split on revenue and how the club makes money.
I can think of some revenue streams:
Ticket sales
Tv rights
Selling players
Selling Merch
Corporate boxes
Sponsorship deals
Cut of the stadium bars/ food sales?
Pitchside advertising
One-off events
Corporate speaking?
Can anyone put a guess on percentage of total revenue for each and fill in any gaps? I'm intrigued because on the face of it seems a lot harder to make money than I'd thought.
