ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Bullshite vs CCM away

Rather hoarse today. What a f**king night.
Huge props to you and the other boys last night Pete, loud and proud and soooo good to have our active back at last. That was what used to make going to away games so enjoyable back before the decline, so I really hope it is here to stay.

More people need to get on board for next season’s in-state games, as they are so great to be a part of.

As it happens, I too am a little hoarse today, can’t think why though...... :overheadl:

Think we will see the combo again. Hall struggled with the fitness element of stepping up to A League CB and rightly so and now teams are in full flight I don’t expect thar to change.
I think we will see Nigro hold his spot as RB now for the remainder of the campaign and Miller will be the sub if needed on Hall or Rowles
I hope that`s the case to AL.
Hall did ok when he got his first start but since then i`d put money on him being at least 50% fitter.
Tongyk`s missed game was a blessing really as Staj was able to test Hall and get a gauge on what needed to be improved...

It made me chuckle that Eggy’s puffer singlet had Bulls on the back of it, Mr Inappropriate! :headbounce:

It is so good to see him back in the active support again :overheadl::overheadl:
Eggy was immense last night.
When he took his jacket off it took 3 security people to come over and ask that he put it back.
Although I think one of them just came along for a perve, she kind of went all mushy after
speaking to him...

I thought the one with handle bar moustache and tats was doing most of the perving.
He seemed to be enjoying the whole thing.

That was Style Cafe & his Dad.
I was sat / stood next to them.

I've just had a phone call from the Mariners thanking me for my support this season.

one thing , the bullshite compressed their midfield and defensive lines to less than 10 metres at times.
to eliminate the space between the lines .
is it that we've adapted to this tactic ? ummm

I thought I heard on commentary that there was a deflection beforehand, so it was actually them them touched it last, although unintentionally.
Yep. Which is a shit law, but not Beath's fault.

You'd think it'd have something to do with possession or likelihood. The whole purpose of the law was because the ball hitting the ref is affecting possession and the attack. Well, it still did - our attack was still stopped because of the ref (not blaming Beath....it was a good falcon!). Only benefit is that the other team can't have a quick counter from it.

Oh well.

On the game, I feel like the last 2 games have been a huge improvement for us. Good time to be finding form if we can continue that into the finals. We just need to figure out how to deal with a congested defence (like City) then we'll do well.
