ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

No thread as yet for our upcoming away game against A Cardinal Direction United in Launceston this Saturday, so I thought I would start one.

I am hopeful that WU taking this one away from Melbourne will work in our favour as it will effectively make it an away game for them as well. It looks like Lachie Wales will miss this one due to the concussion he suffered against the Nix last night and I wonder if Diamanti will be fit enough to play, as they certainly aren’t the same team without him.

As it seems as though a number of us will be travelling to watch this one, hopefully we can organise a pre/post game gathering to sample the local brewskis.

Mrs OH and I are really looking forward to visiting Tassie and hopefully we can include a win and three points on our itinerary...

Diamanti is massive for them. Even when he came on as a second half sub the game before he turned it straight away. He was almost more effective coming on against tired defenders.

His quality is so good. He put the cross right on Uskock head in our first game.

big game - MCY should easily smash the pretenders (Melbourne Defeat), and they're 3 points behind - so a loss this week would knock us off first, though we really need every win we can get.

Theyre 8th, but only played 14 games to our 16, though with less than a 50% win rate its unlikely catching those games up would see them pushing for the top - but probably still better than their ladder position suggests. They've had most of their hard games out of the way too - so their win rate should increase.

Basically, we need to treat them with as much respect as MCY.

Not able to make it down - doing a scuba diving course all weekend - but I'll be watching from some shitty motel or air bnb!

I was hoping to make this one, had some issues which meant I couldn't grab flights accommodation etc, then the Supercars at Symonns Plains moved weekends which was good news as I'm a fan; it also meant accommodation got scarce and flights got pricey which was not good news.

Confident that we can bounce back from missed opportunities and dropped points, Stens needs to lift his game and our midfield need to deal with Diamanti like we did first time around.

This is the most important game of the season for us fans.A win here means we go to 33 points with 6 games to go so mathematically Newcastle cannot possibly catch us.
Grand Final #1

Hope we take some very quick young kids with us to run at them from 75 minutes. They are an old side and if we keep it tight we will eventually run ovr the top of them.

I bloody loved Tassie - dying to go back. Enjoy

A win here is imperative - a loss could see us drop to 3rd.

Geez, this is where that Adelaide loss that wasn't really stings. We'd be another 3 points ahead and the divers would be 3 points further back
