ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hasn’t it already been identified that they were obligated to respond to a covid protocol breach? Silly as it is,

Sorry TB but it’s a massive and ugly assumption to put a racial motivation around something like this without evidence.

Missing the point. Its open slather on Aussies but immigrants are a protected species. I think thats the point they are trying to make.
Who cares, the Filth were stupid and Sean just upped his reputation.

Koul and Nizzy missed two open goals and our crossing was very poor but we had alot of positives and we are 4 points clear at the top of the league.
I thought Ruon, Kye, DDS and Olly were our best players.
The support was fantastic tonight. Pete, Rowdy, Jimmy and Eggy and friends were superb all game.

Answer the question, because right now you're bringing the whole damn forum into shame. We took a big win and you want to pull some racist bullshit like this?? Absolutely shameful.
i did .
what brings the game into disrepute is the total lack of respect for the NSL .

why isn't the coach of the year given the "zoran matic " medal

For mine he does not look match fit or seem to be reading the play and his team mates well enough yet. I think he has quality, so im happy to have him still, but for me Nizz’s output and impact at present is pretty obviously superior.
It is a lot easier to make an impact as a sub than as a starter. Not only can the player pack his energy into a shorter spell, but the opposition are tired. For me Nizz suits the sub role at present.
I sense bias towards the academy grads.

I'm a bit like the confused Beau with Nigro, sitting on a park bench with my flower, picking the petals one by one... I love him, I love him not, I love him, I love him not!

Today he was very hot and cold. Still happy to have him as a starter, I think he's much more good than bad, but thought today was a good chance to gauge Dan Hall rather then bring on Miller. I'm assuming it's cause Dan's a lefty.
I can't understand how MIller gets any time at all as a full back. He ain't one. He's a centreback.

I'm the same. It's a very tough role though and easy to be in the wrong place or do the wrong thing.
His crossing is ordinary, even when accurate the balls seem to be too lofted, but that is easy to say from the sidelines. I think he often neglects the defensive aspect with poor positioning.
However, Nigro certainly has the energy for the role and is our best option, on a different level to Miller. We clearly need backup in the role somehow.

He has started previously and still made an impact, many felt we were worse or at least no better for Janota taking his spot.

Despite what Janota is being allegedly paid, his output doesnt warrant a start over Niz. If Niz has a knock fair enough but Niz did nothing to lose his spot other than get a knock. And if fit he has earned the start. Alou is in the same spot BUT Urena has earned his start.
