What a defensive effort by the lads, do not get me wrong it was infuriating we weren’t better going forward. Murray tweaking his hammy and matty having to go on early didn’t help. Then not being able to bring Sammy on.
But in saying that we still had clearer chances to win. I don’t think anyone can complain after that brilliant defensive performance. Last season we’d lose 8-1 in these matches. Birra was incredible in the work he had to do.
The penalty was shit and we should’ve had one too for a hand ball that was the same as fox’s last week.

Totally agree with everything except the pen being shit, clear penalty. Our shout never a pen, defenders arm was against his body, if the refs start calling those as handball get ready for a penalty every game.
Frustrated yet optimistic about the performance, still need a quality striker but our defensive structure and resolve is the best its been in years. COYY
Then GG had a real Mariners brain fart and shot ourselves in the foot.
We lost control of the game straight after and were lucky to hold on but then we did manage to wrestle it back which was a great improvement from previous years.

Don’t see us scoring much apart from Duric bombs. He’s awesome striker of the ball.
Well done Birra. I didn’t rate him but he’s been excellent tonight and pretty good alround except for the soft 1st WSW goal last week. I acknowledge i was wrong on this pick up. The Millar save was a beauty
- My god, what a pickup Duric is. Extend that mans contract at once!
- Birraz pulled off some excellent saves again and was super unlucky with that sequence of pens.
- Thoughts Stensness was very solid. Been really impressed with him overall.
- Interesting that Sammy Silvera wasn't ultilised.

Took Kim 15 or so to get into it given the pace but did settle things down big time. I’d expect him to start in 2 weeks.
Ruon was good enough after Fox was forced off.
I think there was only 1 major defensive error when Clisby gave kye a poncey little pass even my 9 year old nephew would be embarrassed with that almost led to another pen.
And matty seriously needs to f**king atleast try to make a move to the near post in his career. He would’ve had 2 tonight and he still bitches and moans about the crosses. I’m off him big time lately.
