He might go to Sydney, Kalik's loan deal will end at the end of the season and he would be a more than capable replacement. Would love to nab him as back up to Danny or to play him as winger...

Jeez Antonis has been poor for Victory, looks completely off the pace. Hiariej, Wout and Danny look a class above Victory's midfield. Personally think we've got the best midfield in the HAL.

Antonis was a decent but grossly over rated player. Decent on yteh ball and could play a good pass, utt was NEVER at all dominant. I hold Harper all but personally responsible for that and the Fox $$ driven SFC love affair. Agree on Hiariej, best in the league in his position imo.
Wout is quality too. Before his horror tackle that pass to open the defence and set up our goal was the best of the game.
He's passionate and he clearly finds our present scenario very frustrating. It's what we were missing and needed yesterday. Unfortunately, everyone makes mistakes. Ballantyne's litany about him was way over the top imo.

Sanchez is barely A-League level and Valeri isn't anymore, Antonis is okay but seems unfit and is most definitely not a 10, Troisi is out of form and then they have untested Hope and McGlip. When the ACL starts how will their midfield handle it? Their two other experienced reserves play left back. Their young players n the NYL got routinely smacked and they weren't anywhere close to NPL Victoria standard last season. Can see Victory struggling by seasons end, especially if they get any injuries.

Melbourne City FC can confirm it has signed midfielder Oliver Bozanic for the remainder of the Hyundai A-League 2017/18 season.
Bozanic, 29, joins City after a recent spell with Japanese outfit Ventforet Kofu.
Head Coach Warren Joyce said; “We’ve brought in Oliver as we believe he will link well with our existing players, offers plenty of finals experience and brings a winning mentality. He has won three trophies in club football in Australia and has tested himself in difficult leagues overseas, represented the country and has a desire to win more silverware, which provides us with an experienced and ambitious player.”
Bozanic said he was delighted to join Melbourne City FC;
“This is an ambitious Club in a familiar city for me, I’m really excited to be back here and can’t wait to play in Melbourne again,” Bozanic said.
“With the team having a break next week, I’m looking forward to settling in, meeting my new teammates and preparing for the final matches of the season, including a huge Melbourne Derby in March.”
After launching his career in the United Kingdom, the energetic and combative midfielder established himself in the A-League with Central Coast Mariners.
With the Gosford-based side, Bozanic won the Premiers Plate and Championship during a successful period for the Mariners between 2010 and 2013.
A spell with FC Luzern in Switzerland followed, before a return to the A-League with Melbourne Victory, where he won the Westfield FFA Cup.
Bozanic has represented Australia at Under-20 and Under-23 level and made 7 appearances for the Socceroos.
The midfielder is available for selection ahead of Saturday night's Round 20 clash with Sydney FC at AAMI Park.
